The 782 was invented in the early 1980s by Angelo DeSimone. It was tried and tested and found to be great for mooching, down rigging, trolling, drifting, flipping and even heavy fly fishing. In 1986 Mitchell Sports started limited production of these out of Japan and sold mainly to the Canadian market.
The one you see here was owned by the inventor and inherited by his nephew Doug DeSimone, naturally this is a first version that’s like new in the original box with paperwork and of course, never circulated to the Public. Since ads for these are extremely hard to find, we've included one below along with the schematic.
