By registering with Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation or any of its associated domains or companies you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to all of the terms, conditions, rules and regulations stated below and anywhere else within this website without reserve or modification.
You certify that all of the information you have provided to Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation on your registration is genuine, truthful and accurate and you undertake to update and maintain the accuracy of these registration details.
As you choose your username, bear in mind that it may not be considered offensive or appear to detract from Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation in any manner. If we feel your username is unsuitable in any way, your registration will be cancelled and you will be required to register again under a different username.
YOUR BID IS YOUR CONTRACT.
You can pay for your items online with PayPal (E-CHECKS are not accepted) or by using Authorize.net secure payments. You can also pay for you items at our Fence Depot & More store. We accept Cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All items purchased must be paid for with shipping arranged and/or picked up within a reasonable pre-arranged time frame. If an item is not paid for and picked up by the deadline, Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation reserves the right to charge the payment to the member's card on file without prior notification.
All items must be removed from our premises within the payment deadlines. Any items that have not been removed from our premises within the timeframe will be treated in the following manner:
Please note that we are unable to separate or combine invoices not purchased at the same time. Payment and pickup times will be based on the date of the oldest item purchased.
If you have won an auction item that you no longer wish to buy (buyer's remorse), we do allow members to cancel their purchase(s) by paying a restocking fee for each lot they want cancelled (unless stated otherwise in listing comments). This fee is 20% (minimum $15 charge) of the sale price of the item(s) being restocked, plus taxes. This fee must be received and staff must acknowledge its receipt before any removal and payment deadlines pass.
Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation offers a 14 (fourteen) day warranty on most items that are NOT being sold "AS IS". "AS IS" items are sold WITHOUT warranty. The item's description is nothing more than a general opinion of the item and is not intended as an official appraisal of value or functionality based totally on the visual appearance of the item. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation does not warrant that products descriptions or other contents of our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free. If a product offered by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in its original condition. If such an instance occurs, you must contact [email protected] within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of item in order to obtain approval for a return/exchange. We will not consider returns on items that are assembled, used or missing the packaging the item(s) were sold with. Contact us at [email protected] if you have issues prior to assembling. This does not include or extend to damage caused by or during the shipping process.
Any items/auctions that are subject to additional terms and conditions will be disclosed by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation in a timely and upfront manner and will be enforced accordingly. An example of this would be an off-site auction where all items would need to be removed under shorter time restrictions - this shorter time restriction would be disclosed by us ahead of time and would take precedent over standard pick up times disclosed earlier.
Malicious, false and non-paying buyers / bidders (anyone who bids or are high bidder on items but have no intention of completing the transaction) will have their privileges revoked and registration cancelled. You must be at least 18 years old to register or use any Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation service. If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and restricting access to your computer and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and password.
RESTRICTED ITEMS-YOUR PAL MUST BE VALIDATED.
Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation lists RESTRICTED items for auction that require PRE-APPROVAL on your account. Your PAL (possession and acquisition licence) is the primary licence for possession of a firearm and acquisition of a firearm and ammunition in CANADA, and it is both required and the only permissible document for a person to acquire a firearm. Applicants must be 18 years of age or more. There is no requirement of citizenship or residency (although different forms, and slightly different requirements apply). If you wish to bid on restricted items, it is YOUR responsibility to both complete and maintain the 3 (three) mandatory steps required to activate the RESTRICTED portion of the Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation website. Approvals are reviewed and provided on the next business day after the request is made. Bids will not be accepted on any restricted items without the specific approval of the administers of the Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation website.

The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation with copyright authorship for this collection by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation and protected by international copyright laws.
Most items listed and sold by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation are from our store, Fence Depot & More, but may include shipping and courier companies. However, they can be the result or consignments of private and governmental agencies and institutions which have legal right to commit to sale these items. These things could be considered as recovered, abandoned, refused, undeliverable, seized, forfeited, or as found, and should be considered "used" unless otherwise noted. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation is not privy to the specifics of any items committed to sale and will not release any information or item if contacted. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation will not respond to inquiries or claims from any individual or company. All items committed to sale have been subject to due diligence either by the seller or a known third party and are legally held and committed to sale under various federal and provincial regulation and legislation.
All items listed and sold by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation are subject to tax legislation pursuant to tax laws of Ontario and other Canadian provinces. All taxable items picked up at our Fence Depot & More warehouse, located in Cornwall, Ontario will be charged HST. All taxable items that are shipped to the customer will be charged taxes according to their destination as per provincial and federal tax laws. We try our very best to accurately describe and present each item with a description and clear pictures, however we cannot provide the type of information a buyer might expect from a manufacturer or retail website. We encourage personal inspection of items when verification of specific details is required by the bidder. The description provided is a general overview and should not be considered thorough. Don’t assume any information or functionality based solely on the brief description and pictures provided. It is the bidders / buyers’ obligation to ensure that the item is appropriate and suitable for its’ intended or manufactured use. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation is an unauthorized re-seller of goods. Items sold at Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation are not covered by any manufacturer's warranties, except where specifically stated. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation and her associated companies are not responsible for any deficiencies or faults of any type regardless of the circumstances. It is the bidder / buyers’ sole responsibility to ensure that item is free from faults, defects, recall, or any other hazard or revocation as provided in the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) regardless of statements or claims that are made directly or indirectly by the seller.
These terms and conditions which govern your visit to Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation may be changed by us along with the content of this site at any time. If any of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable that term or condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.
Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation reserves the right to cancel, refuse, disqualify, or delete any auction, bid, bidder, buyer or registrant at any time with or without cause.
WE ONLY SHIP TO CANADA AND LIMITED ITEMS TO THE USA.
We are open Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 9am-2pm and closed Sunday. Free Pick-Up for buyers to come and pick up the items they have won. Buyers may choose to prepay online through PayPal or authorize.net before they arrive or they may pay with Interac, credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, OR AMERICAN EXPRESS) or cash at Fence Depot & More store when they are picking the items up. In order to have someone else pick up your items on your behalf, we must have prior authorization from you communicated to us from your registered email address we have on file.
PLEASE NOTE - PHOTO ID IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR PICK-UP.
WE ONLY SHIP TO CANADA AND LIMITED ITEMS TO THE USA.
All auction items are shipped using Purolator or Canada Post. Each listing page has a 'Calculate Shipping Rates' button if the item is available for shipping where you can get an immediate shipping estimate. The price quoted is the charge for that item to be shipped to you. Please note we do combine shipping on most items. On the auction listing page, you can see if the item is eligible for combined shipping or FREE combined shipping. If it is eligible for combined shipping, the revised shipping charge will be similar to this - The most expensive item to ship is charged at the original quoted rate, additional items will cost a flat rate generally about $3 per item. Example - If you want 4 items combined and the most expensive item to ship costs $14.00 on its own, the total charge will be $23 ($14 + $3 + $3 + $3). If it is eligible for FREE combined shipping, the revised shipping charge will be like this - The most expensive item to ship is charged at the original quoted rate, additional items will be free of shipping cost. Example - If you want 4 items with Free combined shipping and the most expensive item to ship costs $14 on its own, the total charge will be $14 ($14 + $0 + $0 + $0). If you have some auctions that are eligible for combined shipping and some eligible for FREE combined shipping you can mix the orders. Example - If you have 2 auctions eligible for combined shipping and 2 auctions eligible for FREE combined shipping the revised shipping charge will be like this - The most expensive item to ship is charged at the original quoted rate, $3.00 for the second combined shipping charge and the 2 FREE combined have no additional shipping cost the total charge will be $17 ($14 + $3 + $0 + $0)
SHIPPING DISCOUNTS ARE FOR ITEMS PURCHASED ON THE SAME INVOICE. WE ARE UNABLE TO COMBINE INVOICES NOT PURCHASED AT THE SAME TIME.
Shipping limited items to the USA – means that any RESTRICTED item on the Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation site cannot be shipped to the USA. USA residents may visit the Fence Depot & More store and pick up restricted items – but must meet all Canadian laws governing the restricted items status.

You have seven (7) days to remove the merchandise from our premises without prior arrangements being made. When an item has passed the pickup time frame, we will ship the item(s) to you. Shipping charges will be charged to your credit card on file. If the item is not shippable, the item may be removed from your account and made available for sale on our site again. You will be charged a restocking fee of 10% (minimum $15) of the sale price of the item(s) not shipping, plus taxes.
In order to bid on auctions or purchase on Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation online, you must have an Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation account. Registration is free. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid credit card to activate an account. You will be required to choose a username with a password and will need to provide your contact/shipping information associated with your credit card. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation does not sell/share your information with anyone.
PLEASE NOTE – that certain items displayed on Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation can be purchased In-store without registering on our site.
Most auctions begin at $1.00 with no reserves. Bids are accepted in $1.00 increments. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation uses the proxy(automatic) method of bidding, meaning that we will bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount you have indicated (if necessary). The definition of proxy bidding (used by eBay), is stated below.
"Proxy bidding is an implementation of an English second-price auction used on eBay, in which the winning bidder pays the price of the second-highest bid plus a defined increment."
Examples of our bidding process are explained below:
If an auction has no bids, and you enter a maximum bid of $25.00, your current bid is $1.00 and if nobody else bids, you will win the auction for $1.00.
If another bidder bids $15.00, we will automatically increase your bid to $16.00.
If another bidder bids $26.00(or higher), you have been outbid and will be notified via email.
You have the option to increase your proxy bid at any time before the auction for that item ends. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation will never exceed your maximum bid.
If a bid is placed on an item within two (2) minutes of the auction closing time, that auction closing time will be extended by two (2) minutes.
All items are sold to the highest bidder. In the event that two (2) bidders bid the same amount, the first bidder to place their high bid will be the winner of the auction. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation will send the winning bidder an e-mail notifying them that they won the auction. That e-mail will contain all necessary payment and pickup/shipping information.
When we sell a "lot" of items, your bid price is for the whole amount for one price, not times the count. Example - if we are selling six (6) of an item and you bid $10, you are bidding $10 for all six (6), not $10 for each item that totals $60.
Please be advised that as new registrants to Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation may be required to submit payment in an alternate form in accordance with our credit card security procedures. If they choose to pay their invoices online, newcomers may have their initial credit card payments refunded and they may be asked to send payment via PayPal or e-transfer for online payments. If customers are picking up, they may be asked to pay in-store instead of online.
Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation only uses your information for purposes related to ensuring you have a safe and secure online experience. You will ONLY be contacted by Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation. Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation does not share your personal information with third parties.
You can click the 'Ask a Question' button located on every auction and Maxx Deal listing or email [email protected]. Emails are answered during regular business hours.
You can pay for your items online with PayPal, Visa Debit, Visa, Mastercard and Discover or you can make payment at time of pickup at our liquidation outlet. We accept Interac, Visa, Mastercard and cash.
You have until Monday by 4.00 pm or seven (7) days from auction closing to remove the merchandise from our premises. When an item has passed the pickup time frame, we will ship the item(s) to you. Shipping charges will be charged to your credit card on file. If the item is not shippable, the item will be removed from your account and made available for sale on our site again. You will be charged a restocking fee of 10% (minimum $15) of the sale price of the item(s) not shipping, plus taxes. If your account is deactivated for non-payment, we will charge restocking fees for all items on your invoice, in accordance with our restocking fee protocol. We will not be able to reactivate your account until all monies owing are paid in full.
Please note that we are unable to separate or combine invoices. Payment and pick up times will be based on the date of oldest item purchased.
For identity verification purposes we will record your ID number at time of pick up. Failure to provide this information will result in account closure and re-posting of items.
Each online auction listing contains shipping/pickup information and a shipping fee calculator.
Each listing will state whether the item is eligible to be combined with shipments at a discounted rate. They are stated as follows below:
FREE COMBINED SHIPPING - This item will not incur any additional charges when shipped with any other combined shipping item(s).
$3 COMBINED SHIPPING - This item will incur a fixed $3 shipping fee when shipped with any other combined shipping item(s).
SHIPPING AVAILABLE - This item is not combinable and will not be shipped with any other item(s).
FREE PICKUP ONLY - This item is not able to be shipped. It must be picked up from our warehouse.
We are not responsible for any additional charges incurred after it has left our premises such as import duties/taxes or additional delivery fees assessed upon delivery.
Multiple invoices are unable to be combined for shipping discounts. We use Purolator and Canada Post for shipping and are unable to use buyer's or third-party shipping accounts.
Unfortunately, we at Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation are not able to bill to other parties' shipping accounts at this time. We are working on this as a future enhancement. If we are successful in this endeavor then only the Handling Fee would apply.
Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation and the Fence Depot Store is open Monday to Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday & Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 9am-2pm. We are closed Sunday. Preview of item(s) (unless being sold as is) is available the business day after the item has been listed during business hours up to 15 minutes before closing time of the Fence Depot Store. A maximum of five (5) listings can be previewed. Identification is required to preview items.
If the item is a Anything Goes Auction & Liquidation and they want to buy it then we can get the item otherwise you need to tell the customer that the item is still being processed and not available.
"CAD" stands for Canadian dollars. Canadian currency is the required form of payment. US funds will need to be exchanged into Canadian dollars in order to complete a transaction. PayPal, our online method of payment, is able to do this for American buyers.
